STUDENT NEED

According to a national survey of Latinos on education performed by the Pew Hispanic Center/Kaiser Family Foundation a large majority of Latinos said that the cost of tuition and the need to work and earn money are major reasons why people do not go to college or fail to finish once they have started.

FHSF is dedicated to meeting the needs of our San Joaquin Valley students. In doing this FHSF believes that it will enhance the professional workforce and the communities of the San Joaquin Valley.

But FHSF cannot meet the need alone. FHSF relies on corporate and individual support from the community to assist in providing for the educational development of our future leaders. FHSF serves as a conduit to raise the needed dollars to meet the need of our Latino students. We believe these students will become talented professionals who will practice their profession in the San Joaquin Valley.
